The perimeter of the tennis courts, outside the wire fence, has been untouched for 25 years. The area is being cleared of trees, brush, debris, vines and earth so the surface of the tennis court is above the soil level. This must be done before work on repairing the tennis court surface can begin. A new drainage system was also installed on the West and part of the South side of the courts. A portion of the original drainage system on the South side was OK so the new system connects to it. The new drainage system replaces the original system which was totally clogged with earth and broken. As soon as weather permits, probably in May or June work will begin on re-surfacing the tennis courts.
