we’d like to form a group of about three people to help plan landscaping, both short-term and long. If interested, please contact one of the board members.
Pear tree pruning
13 pear trees bordering the crescent roadway are scheduled to be pruned December 6, 7, and 8th. These trees are subject to breaking off and splitting under a snow and ice load. If we don’t prune them now we will incur even more costs during emergency conditions in winter. This won’t be a slight trim, this will be a severe pruning. They won’t look pretty at first, but these pear trees grow like weeds and next summer they will quickly grow back their branches.
Shuffleboard equipment
Shuffleboard equipment is in the garage across from the tennis court.

New tennis court padlock with key
The tennis courts now have a padlock that is opened with a key. To obtain your key for this padlock call Maurice at 973-812-4177.
The combination lock was damaged and had to be removed.
Tennis and shuffleboard courts
The tennis courts are ready to use. Our new courts are identical to the courts at the US Open. In 2005 the US tennis association changed the court color from green to blue, the better for players and spectators to follow the ball. Residents need to use their own tennis raquets and tennis balls.
Tulip Gardens has two new shuffleboard courts, one at each end of the tennis court. If you have equipment, you can play now. Shuffleboard equipment is being ordered. As soon as it arrives you will receive a memo describing how to access the equipment.
Stairwell refurbishing project
